Well this was a very interesting thread and very entertaining...Anyone who has read any posts at all should know that this (person) is full of s$%#! They (CRE) have such a bad reputation that you have to be an idiot to even think about going there....especially with a wonderful lease they have ready for you to jump right into. I actually thought about going there...for about 20 seconds, and after reading the nightmares...no way!!! Even if half of them weren't true....that would still leave 1800 that were...Yeah there could be some p.o. drivers but not that many!!! One or two guys could be upset but when you think about it,they out number the others 10 to 1...I say let them go to CRE and learn the hard way...can't say they weren't warned....There is a sucker born everyday..HAHA

Funny how beantown hasnt been back on here to talk more sweet music about CRE. Bet he doent even work there n e more.
-
I forget.
Memory --- second thang to go
doncha know.
-
Yup the dispatchers are a interesting crowd at CRE, pay attention to the whimsical wording. Because at CRE the only ones that are truly special are not you the one whom asks to be treated fairly.
-
You know the reality is, I am open to anything. CR is selling a dream. Sometimes dreams are nightmares. Yet there are some real dreams that come true. I still hold hope for my dreams, even tho reality plays a different role.
AfterShock Thanks this. -
From the majority of CRE lease posts. It would appear that they charge a wee bit too much for those dreams they are selling.
-
just be a company driver for them get experience and get out
-
Well, sorry I haven't bothered to respond but I see no reason to reply to people flaming me for my opinions and my experiance with CRE.
Still with them and still going strong and after 4 years 8 months I have about enough set aside for a down payment on a truck. My lease is up in September and I plan to actually buy a truck of my own and do it for me.
Maybe I'm the anomaly or maybe I just didn't step into england with no clue. all the same it's working for me after #### near 5 years. And for those who think I am a plant, read between the lines. I came into the lease with the mind set this is a buisness. This isn't a job.
this is what my life is. I drive because I love what I do so YES, this is a lifestyle. I could sit home doing a regional or local gig but why would I want to? My life, my choice. Please don't talk down on me because of the way I live.
I could take the time to reply to every message but pretty much all of them say i am full of $#!% so I will let you continue to belive that. I have nothing to prove here. I was just stating the facts of what I hear time and time again. From company drivers and soon to be terminated lease holders.
I know England isn't one of the best companies and I know they have a bad reputation. not to mention the countless lawsuits people have brought against them but I figure if they are still around they either have really good lawyers or there's more to everyone's story. So I will just keep doing what I do.
I will say this thou.... I take home most weeks 850-1200 and my truck gets 7.6 mpg average (I am on fuel rebate)
And to put it right out there. Ask any of the 30 year OTR vets out there how to run 4k a week legal. I learned how to log from someone now on his 40th year of OTR. It's not rocket science. I will just say 8.75 and 65mph... think about it
With that said good luck to all of you and get the 200g tanks it will save you alot of time and money
I was not here trying to talk up england I just think it's pretty unfair for people to call everyone that works for them moronsdragonmatrix, billsgirl, nicnat2 and 4 others Thank this. -
I believe you. I also believe you are the exception not the rule. I also believe you are probably working harder than you need to to make your lease work as compared to elsewhere. And last, I believe that your employer is so bad that it hurts your credibility, and if nothing else about them was real, that remains.
That said, I think you're going to completely ROCK as an O/O and wish you the best. You're gonna be a rich mofo. -
Hmmmmmmmmm
I think your continued comments could add credibility to your claims. What we here have become accustomed to is the hit & run C.R.E. poster, which suggests a plant. By Golly --- if you're doin' well at C.R.E. your's just might be the success story many of us have been waiting to hear.
I'm happy to read that.
But, I think you'd also have to admit that your's is not the typical C.R.E. story.
I think you're exactly correct when you mention that others probably went in with stary eyes wide shut --- which makes readin' the fine print durn near impossible. They set themselves up for failure, and when they succeed at failing, they blame everyone and everything except the real cause.
Themselves.
Of course, I place a lot of that blame on C.R.E., but not all of the blame.
Show them/us where they're/we're mistaken.
Then, it's them/us who will be the "$#!%"
Many of us here are more concerned with the TRUTH.
If you know what that is, please share it with us.
Success stories make our day.
If you can and will do that, we'd sure appreciate it.
Many of us here are readin' what'cha write. But please understand, that after readin' all the horror stories associated with C.R.E. --- we're probably a tad skeptical.
From past experiences, when we hear good thangs about C.R.E., the poster(s) makin' those claims seem to suddenly drop off the ends of the Earth.
Where'd they go?
Their silence is deafening.
Also, when you first entered your C.R.E. lease, did you do so with cash in reserve? I guessin' you did, and that right thar can make ALL the difference betwixt success and failure.
You mentioned earlier that you approached your lease as a BUSINESS, ..... not an employee. I believe that's wise, if not imperative to achieve success.
That is possible. I know. I've done it.
Not so much as a steady diet, but from time to time, when the opportunity arises, it's nice to see if I can handle the program.
After several weeks runnin' like that, I'm ready for more mellow 3,000 mile weeks. (As a solo driver)
NopE.
You are articulate and express yourself well. It's a pleasure to read your posts, ---- and my hopes are that we'll be able to read more of your posts.
I'm readin' 'em with an open mind.
Oh, sure! I have opinions based on what knowledge that I'm in possession of at this time. But my opinion(s) have been known to change based on additional, correct information. YoU may be able to provide information that could sway my opinion(s) about C.R. England.
For that reason I hope you'll continue to post your comments and information. Rest assured, I'll be readin' 'em.
When y'all can't please everyone ----
By golly --- y'all got to please yourSELF.
Is this a case of shootin' the messenger and
ignoring the message? :smt102:smt102
I wonder. :smt017
If BTTrucker made it at C.R. England -----
What could keep him down?
I'm anxious to learn just how he didit.
And hope he'll 'splain to to us.
BeanTownTrucker Thanks this.
