I took it to the safety cordinater he took care of it on day runs now and yes they do have electronic logs but when your on a 34hr reset and no sooner you get to your truck you have a run that takes all night into morning I sleep at night my body cant adjust to sleep durring the day so the safety cordinater made sure that I was getting day loads some people are different im not a night person im a day person.. And trucking is for me I have a 35 year back ground I learned from.

 

Explain this I was tired one night because england waited to give me my load by that time I was already sleepy cant sleep durring the day they said if I did not take the load it would go down as an unexcussed absence. Well safety got after disbatcher for this when a driver is tired they are to let us rest not send us out or threaten us in any way the unexcussed absence was removed from my record by safety.

 

As of July CR England will no longer be in Sterling they lost there contract with walmart they wanted a raise a million more walmart was not going for it plus to many fatiged drivers causing accidents schnieder is taking over sterling and Chicago intermodal many are leaving england to schnieder,hunt and midwest express.

 

Im just not a night person I drive durring the day works great sleep at night thanks to safety trucking is for me 35yrs of experiance I have learned from.

Drive just fine durring the day and have done loads that get me back at 2am drive just fine

 

I can take a load at night but need to rest first which because of safety im allowed to before a night run if I get one
