How many feet long does a crack need to be to be bad? Would a 1 foot log crack in your own vehicle be bad?
You hit a non-moving object, stop trying to minimize it. Learn from it and make sure you don’t do it again.

One foot crack on one of my bumpers would be "let's get that fixed, don't give a crap what happened".
However when I was 21, I didn't make excuses, I just said "OK time to move on, it happened". -
Having seen the condition of some of Swift's vehicles I am shocked the trainer would even report it. Ethics maybe but still it is training.
Best thing to do when you're not sure of something is to stop. Then reassess.
It's Swift so there is a lot of #### you are gonna have to learn on your own the hard way. Ask your dm if you can take the CQT course. If you take it in Memphis you might actually learn something useful that will help you out the next time you are in a tight spot. -
