From what I see craigslist is mostly swift and Werner spam and local construction jobs or small local companies. I see a lot of good stuff on Craigslist.
I saw a 9-5 flat bed lumber delivery job that sounded great if anyone in mpls is interested.

My boss posts his business on good ole craigslist....youd be surprised the ppl that come to him...he once had an older guy ask if he could take his drug test later due to him smoking weed a week ago...my boss then was like....ehhhhhh i dont think this is going to work out and proceeded to get cussed at by the guy
..lolLoneCowboy and Midnightrider909 Thank this. -
You can weed out 90% of CL and get lucky sometimes. I think indeed.com is overtaking CL for the better quality driver jobs. Indeed.com is a very mobile friendly website, too.

People look at freight, fuel prices, weather and this is all good. I like to add the current job landscape to this. And I get a more global picture of the industry as a whole. So, once or twice a week, I'll go through sites like craigslist.
It doesn't take a genius to figure out approximately 90-97% there are bottom feeders. The small percentage of drivers who found a good gig there should consider themselves fortunate.
And this doesn't apply to just megas. Mid to small size outfits who advertise there - if you do your research and grill the recruiter - will also reveal themselves as a nest of sewer rats.
Ask yourself: Why are they advertising on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis?
It also bears mentioning that just because an outfit does NOT advertise on the site doesn't mean they're some holy grail. Pride Transport based in Salt Lake is one example. -
where are they located? whats their running area? whats the company name?

St. Louis and you have to live reasonably close to the terminal because the trucks stay there for your hometime. You won't take your truck with you if you're not working ever and they will know if you do
