Crazy FedEx driver!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well that aint right.I always stay in the granny lane if slow.Just not the furthest right in Chicago.

 

All the more reason for the op to be in the right lane and not in the only lane that trucks are legally allowed to pass in. Yeah there's no excuse for how the FedEx Ground drivers act and drive most of the time but the op even stated he was running 60 in a 55. So what's the difference in doing 5 over opposed to 15 over the limit, speeding is speeding no matter how you look at it. I dont know why drivers that have only been driving a few years find it necessary to ride the middle lane. Last week going to Laredo, every truck I passed I had to pass in the right lane and there wasn't hardly any traffic out. And to add insult to injury it was all the trucks that are governed below 65. Too many to list and im sure most on here know who those trucks are anyways.

I will say this though, when you slowed him down you should have moved to the right when you got an opportunity. You showed him no courtesy. I won't even get into the fact that you were driving beside a couple other semis with cruise on and felt it was safe to be taking pictures.

Keeping space around you, being courteous and doing your best to stay out of situations like that will make your life easier and keep everyone safer. He shouldn't have been tailgating but you likely could have avoided the situation if you had the right mindset.

 

Now im getting a better picture of what happened.Then he slowed the fed ex driver down even more,that had to have pissed fed ex off big time.No wonder he sped of.

 

And if the OP is really a "student", all I can do is shake my head. He's already got a horrible attitude towards big trucks. Whatever school he is going to must put out real winners......

 

Lets be easy on the OP, he is a student learning! I don't know if you were in a big truck or car but that late at night there isn't much traffic and you should've been in the granny lane. FedEx shouldn't have rode your bumper and flashed his lights either........Just chalk it up to experience and next time your driving on 294 or wherever you will think of this thread......

 

Call this number ===> 1.901.369.3600 and ask them what number they have in order to speak to the safety department of what ever division the truck was from, They will tell you their phone number and talk to the safety manager, tell them the time, the date and what happened. If you got pictures, ask for an email address to send them to. Then tell them you will follow up with them in a few days.

 

Sounds like too much work,lol.
