CRE “One”

I seriously wonder how C. R. England finds enough drivers, I dare someone to call a C. R. England recruiter and ask what their turnover rate is. They have 4 schools across the country constantly training new drivers, they hire immigrants, have the lowest bar on driver's driving record, but even then they shouldn't have enough drivers.

In Salt Lake City/West Valley City Utah they had to put a barbed wire fence, a gate controlled by security, cameras everywhere to stop the office employees cars from getting sabotaged by angry drivers.

 

C. R. England makes their own safety videos so it doesn't surprise me they'd try to make a music video.

 

They do have good looking trucks and their own coat of arms.

They wouldn’t care if you were a vampire, could change into a bat, and would bite everyone you come into contact with as long as you can hold a steering wheel.

My understanding from what I've heard from a driver there is the company makes a small donation monetarily to a food bank of the drivers choosing. Sounds good in theory but I wonder if its actually working out as planned.

Sounds more like a pr stunt than anything.

In 91, Gene England ( I think thats his name ) came to my Driving School in a brand new Frtshkr FLD. Out of 18 students he recruited 15 to drive for CRE. A husband & wife team went to Pride & I went to KLLM. KLLM paid a penny more per mile. Not knowing jack about trucking & no internet or social media to rely on, that was the sole deciding factor to my start in trucking. Thank You, KLLM!!!
