http://cbradiomagazine.com/CRE 8900 10 Meter SSB Export Radio Review.html
I was just up on E-bay looking at ham radios and ordered one I never heard of before, the CRE8900 a 10/11 band mobile that's supposedly the smallest CB/Ham that has SSB.
It's slightly smaller than a Ranger 2950 which isn't too small.
CBRadio magazine has a youtube on it and its got quite a few features. It's a European 10 meter that is super easy to modify to work on 11 meters (CB). You just push 2 buttons while turning it on. Total price with shipping $228 USD.
Built in talk back, echo, & other stuff. Gotta be ordered from the UK.
CRE 8900 ... any experience with it??

I had one about a year ago, it is actually really small.
Radio was match to predator ant & i did talk european countries plus all over US/Canada barefoot.
Only downside for me was the mic i didn't like the microphone feel in my hand other than that no complain.WisconsinF150 and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
Well mr wiz f150..Get ahold of mark(hard drive) on facebook and let him set it up for ya..Make it smoke alot of the bigger radios that think they get out and talk clearly..
WisconsinF150 and Ougigoug Thank this. -
Millis Transfer uses Spy-Cams in their trucks.......Pick your nose and wipe it on cam screen so they dont see squat....If they need to see you tellem you make personal videos for 39.99 a piece..
WisconsinF150 Thanks this. -
Stick to a real radio, don't be fooled by these cheap junk radios that are not ham radios or have good circuitry design. They preform just as good as a cobra.

I'm a Ham and want 10 meter access. Cobra doesn't have 10 meter radios. I don't wanna have an all band radio in my truck.
