I'm not sure getting a CDL a week and a half quicker is worth:

    • The potential hit on your DAC report the company can give you if you jump ship and they don't like it. Even if the black mark isn't accurate, it seems like a big hassle to fix in the name of a couple of weeks.
    • The fact you are on the hook for inflated training costs if you don't work for them the required amount of time. It seems to me that scumbags or not, if you signed a contract you are on the hook to pay the $$. A week and half hardly seems worth screwing up your credit over.
    • If your intention was to use them to get your CDL and you knew you were going to jet after getting it, you have now lowered yourself to their level. By all accounts CRE is a cesspool that should be avoided at all costs, but my own personal integrity is worth more to me than getting my CDL under false pretenses.
IMO this is why companies like CRE will continue to have fresh meat to grind. People view it as the quickest way to get a CDL as opposed to the best way to get a CDL. The need for instant gratification can definitely impair judgement.

My oringinal intention was not to just get a quick CDL license they had something I thought to offer but they really turned out to have nothing to offer except aggrevation in my eyes. If you look at their web site for recruiting you will see that they offer what seems to be reasonable training, yet reality is that I could of finished my road training and become a phase 2 trainer only one day class to take. So what if you have people who need the extra driver miles, (BIG) but done know how to train does it not exquate to a disaster down the road? (Rhectorical). Last point there are no contracts with this company here is the reality, my loan money was gauranteed by the government. Yes yours and our tax payer money at work. I plan on paying them back got in with another company with tuition reimbursement. Your points are well received though. thanks

Call me old-fashioned, but this is one of the reasons I think women should be trained by female drivers. No way on earth any decent female driver trainer would limit the female trainee to 5 showers in four weeks. Men may be able to get away with that because of our sealed up plumbing, women should not risk it..... IMO. Not to mention, I think a female trainer would be a little more understanding to a new female trainee.
