That's too bad as it was a good program. In my opinion, it was more of a benefit for the more, serious students who wanted as much practice for not only to get more experience shifting and driving, but for a taste of the real world that involved pulling loaded trailers, not empty ones hooked to a trainer truck, learning the Qualcomm and the macros, getting familiar dealing with customers and backing into docks and such.
Plus, we even got a little practice in mountain driving up on Parley's pass, and a little bit of winter driving..... All of which, the rest of the other students didn't get to experience.
In other words, myself, my wife and I think two other people who qualified for the program, got like three times as much training and practice as all the other students in our class got.
As I said, its a real shame that they canceled the flex program as I feel my wife and I really got a lot out of it.
