I'm camping out at the FJ in Oklahoma City for the night and I just got straddled by two reefers running on continuous, one on my right side and one on my left side. Both trucks are Dynamite Transit Company trucks. What great luck! I may have to move, if there are some parking spots left?

Man I really hate that crap! I like to find a single space between two trucks so I can "pick my poison". My trainer used to always gripe about the people that pull in instead of backing in. But man, let me tell ya, I've done it on more than one occasion when ample space is available to back out in the morning.

As a bull hauler has been known to say "that's the smell of money, son"...of course it prompts the reply from me "that's funny, it smells close to the stuff that come out of my ###...no wonder I am broke...I keep flushing my money down the toilet every morning"

I moved. I couldn’t take it. Those were two extremely loud reefers and they were both running on continuous. I pity whoever parks in my old spot.

I don't know which is worse, parking next to a loud reefer or next to a truck whose dryer keeps venting every ten seconds.

Dryers, hands-down. Now that I'm getting used to Opti-Idle, I don't mind the reefers nearly as much as I used to. But HOLY ####### #### IF YOUR AIR DRYER HAS TO PURGE EVERY SEVEN SECONDS, MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO PARK ON THE ON-RAMP UNTIL YOU GET YOUR ####### TRUCK FIXED. Especially if it makes that "rattlesnake" sound every ####### time it purges.

Peaked and tuned by DTB Radio, one of the best shops in the nation, and it really smokes. Was talking to someone in Harrisburg yesterday, from New Kingstown. That's ~20 miles. That ain't no #### for a barefooter...

    <-----Now with Tanker Endorsement :biggrin_25525:

I missed one question. I can't remember which one. It was funny looking at all of the CDL school students there getting all excited about passing the exams.

I actually plan, at some point, to get all the endorsements you can get on a CDL. Tanker, hazmats, doubles/triples, passengers, school bus. That way my work opportunities should SHTF are expanded.

So are we looking to go drive a tanker?
