This thread is slacking.

Noticed that too. Who can tell me what happened to the Petro in Claysville, Pa. I 70 exit 6? I drove by it today for the first time in months and it's closed except for the restaurant and it looks like they don't allow truck parking anymore.

Xlsdraw thinking same thing.

Either everybody is too busy to post or they have grown bored with the thread.

I don't drive for Crete or Shaffer anymore just like to see if everyone still doing well etc

I live in Cincy, who do you drive for now?

Well I managed to find the perfect job! After 6+ years at Crete, I moved from the Reno area down to Vegas and, by the grace of God, found a job with a private company. I'm home EVERY weekend and usually once during the week. I get paid off the hub, hourly for ALL my on duty time, less expensive benefits, strictly south western states, 10 PAID holidays per year(that I actually get to be off for) and GREAT people to work with!
I only drive 1800-2000 miles per week, but with the hourly pay I'm making WAY MORE than I ever could get dealing with the inept dispatchers at Crete.
My advice is NEVER stop looking and you may very well find that perfect job. I did it, SuperSnackBar did it and you can too!
If you ever see a job posting for a company called Aquatic, RUN to their office and apply AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!! -
I just got the complete Seinfeld series to keep me busy.
and a slow load to PA, but it gives me an unneeded reset in Youngstown, plus time at a Quaker Steak and Lube.

I don't live far from there. The company that bought it from Petro went bankrupt. That place has been going down hole for years. Used to be a nice place. I quit going there when they replaced Kings with Huddle House.
