Anybody know when that fireworks place next to the Pilot on I 75 exit 141 in Tenn. burned to the ground? Went by it today and there is just a wall or two left standing. Must of been a heck of a show.

I finally got a preplan. Picks up tomorrow in Amarillo and goes to Bristol, VA for a Monday morning delivery; 1227 miles in three days. Sure beats the 480 miler I got earlier..haha BTW, Lenoir City is a fuel solution. I thought we weren't fueling at the terminals anymore?? I know there was a message sent out not to fuel at the terminals but it's been some time ago. I just hope the tire checker isn't on duty when I get there. It's like a level3 inspection just to get inside the terminal..haha

Just get into the terminal before they come in in the morning. I dropped in at 5am the other day to Tcall a load and there wasn't a shop guy to be found.

That is exactly why they use Lenoir City. To get a trailer inspection done. I had it twice recently. If you go in after the shop closes, you avoid the inspection...but then since they lock the pumps up, you can't get fuel then.

I have asked them to Tcall this load at Lenoir City. I will be there tomorrow (Saturday) around 1500 and this load doesn't deliver until Monday at 0830 only 140 miles away. Maybe they will help me out on this. We'll see. If not I may need fuel before L/C..haha

Just got a similar deal. I delivered a load in Alliance OH at noon and they found me an outbound from the same customer that was scheduled to deliver in Breinigsville PA today at 1600. I let them know there was no way I was running 366 miles in 4 hours... I then get a message back saying pick it up and get it there by midnight. No problemo. They dispatch me 15 mins later and sometime in that 15 minutes they pushed the delivery out to Monday at 1600 and didn't bother letting anyone know. So I'm off to New Kingstown with it instead.

What I don't understand is why the planners are screwing up so badly lately. This is the 4th time this week I've been given a load that either was already late for pickup or delivery (or both). They really need to hurry up and install those RATO rockets on my truck like I've been requesting if they intend for the freight to be delivered ontime :biggrin_25523:
