Well, if you don't like breakdowns...then don't listen for the sound of Poly calling your name. Their equipment is 2nd rate junk...in fact, if they bought some of Crete's trade trucks it would be an upgrade.

 

But the nice part for Shaffer is, that we can haul Crete freight in our trailers...it's a bit harder to have Crete do a reefer load in a Crete trailer...

 

Shaffer can haul most of Crete's freight...I do remember having to deal with Shaffer dispatch when I occasionally pulled one of their loads and the Crete customer refused to load a reefer.

 

If you have a Prostar, ask dispatch to get you to Lincoln or Lenoir City. Knoxville and Lincoln have the best International dealers for us. (less downtime)

I'll have 651 miles in for this week, but Crete got me home 3 days early, I think.

No problem, on my last truck, I asked dispatch and they got me to Lincoln, I was using coolant, the shop got me in quick for a B service AND THEN sent me to International for my EGR valve. I get to International and they tell me they been waiting for me and now it's too late to finish the truck tonight.
I call our shop and they come and drive me to the hotel, but that was good for me, beats sitting at the dealer for 6 hours, instead I went to the hotel, went to Luckies, had a great time, woke up, went to McD's, called our shop to get a ride to my truck, which was done.
Don't play Keno in Lincoln.

 

I got my safety bonus today, it cost $ 2.32 to mail the envelope to me. A patch and a hat pin. (no rusty ink pen this year)

I might heat my iron up in the morning and run out and glue the patch to the side of the truck.

As today I thought about bobtailing to where an extension cord would reach.

I have to be nice to my asset manager for now, getting the survey and title search done on 9 acres of weeds, sticktites and ticks. I'd like to be home about 10 days from now for a day off?

 

And do it with message 15... not a freeform. Freeform doesn't go to the load planners, #15 does.
