How did you manage that? Are you in a 2015? My buddy heard a rumor 2015s would have inverters, but that sounds to good to be true, and I haven't noticed any Crete trucks that seemed to be 2015...

I hope and pray all turns out well for you and your family 48. I face a great deal of uncertainty now as well. Daughter and Son-in-law have listed there houses for sale here in Central Florida and are looking to find positions in New York near his parents. Bye bye Grand babies. I am switching over to a different type of blood pressure medicine as my doctor thinks my elevated potassium may be a side effect of the Lisinipril I have been on for years. And I am at home once again as a former Creten. Just a few moments after the New Kingstown terminal based Sleep Pointe representative called and said their doc was Recommending that I be placed on a cpap, I sent my immediate resignation notice over the qualcomm. I will get tested through the VA. I advised the appropriate Crete representative there at the New Kingstown Prior to the test that the test was 100% there $3,000 burden/gamble as I had no desire for the test and would likely leave their employ if recommended for a machine. They didn't like that too much but they still proceeded to spend the money.

Good for you XL. Nice to someone with a backbone. I've never had an employer even so much as mention a sleep study. The only thing I've ever heard about it is getting my last DOT physical. I asked if it was going to be required and was told no, so long as my neck size wasn't XX inches, which I'm nowhere near. Crete seems to really enjoy putting people through the hoops. I personally think they are thinning out the driver pool to pay even lower wages.

Honestly, I can't claim foul on Crete or Sleep Pointe at this time concerning the testing. But, I do not have any problems with fatigue and my wife of 34 years says that I rarely snore and do not seem to have any trouble breathing when sleeping. There was sufficient doubt to pursue a second opinion which I felt should be immediate. When the other driver that got tested with me approached me and HE told me that he and I were Both recommended to go on the machine I was quite pissed. This was Before I got the call from Sleep Pointe. Pretty sure that information should have not been shared with another driver like that.

I'm sure Crete is getting a kickback on that equipment too...if and when anyone follows the paper/money trail...we definitely know where it comes and ends up at..

My brother is a respiratory therapist, he says those machines cost $200-$300. Crete charges $900+

XLSDraw, You did the right thing. If all drivers had this reaction then they wouldn't be able to get away with this racket. You'll be better off at a company that values you as a person more than how much they can make off of you.
