He could easily run out west and then get back home on time.
Maybe Crete wants to run the snowy freight out west this winter

SOP @ CCC. They use to do that to me when I was there, until I fooled them and took one postponing my home time a few weeks...then is was 3 years before I ever saw the west coast again. (Which happened to be the same week I was interviewed and hired by Poly)

Sitting at the Loves at exit 64. NB commercial vehicle restriction is currently 6AM til 7PM....gonna run night shift for a few days...yippee!

Also of note: Having spent the last several days in CA, I went through exactly one scale. I80 WB. Got the green light on the PrePass several times (including Banning WB), and Cajon was closed this morning.

Guy I got repowered by the other day told me we were testing 10 KWs. Claimed they're trying to put pressure on International.

I would think the recent influx of mid-roof Freightliners they have been getting would do just that. Crete tried Pete's years ago, but the reliability and availability of replacement parts did those in. I would have a hard time believing they would fork out all that extra just to put a red oval logo'd truck in the fleet. I would guess that just to put the red Peterbuilt emblem on it adds $5k to the purchase price. And a KW wouldn't be much cheaper.
