You get a preloaded trailer at the DC, at the store it was a drop and hook.

Incentive?? It's a holiday and for some, running Walmart beats sitting at a truck stop for days, waiting to deliver.

Crete did screw me out of half a days pay and didn't pay me back for the long shank padlock.
That's why I turn it down, that and the DC people were jackarses

Yes, trainers here at Crete that run SuperSolo are raking in $2500 plus a week.
    I met one of them.
    Lifestyle sucks though.

They get paid on ALL miles the truck moves plus an extra $125 a week for training.
However they require 3 years experience here to be a trainer.. unlike most low class companies where you can train at 6 months to one year experience. What a joke that is

Experienced Old Dominion team drivers get paid .68 CPM plus paid on all line 4 time and are home on weekends. Heck teams start at .62 or .64 I think he said
I met one of them at a truck stop in Virginia, wrote a thread about it.

What's up guys? I've been lurking about. I just wanted to chime in and say that I have completed my 90 probation period hauling crude and all's well. It's our slow season but still making some good money. At the .44 cpm I was making at Crete I could expect to earn about $264/day if I was able to drive 600 miles in a day. I know it was rare that I could actually do that but I base my days here on an "over/under" of $264 a day. So far I have been over far more days than under. Plus we get paid for anything we do. Like today I had to take my truck in so they could repair a leaking steering shaft seal. So from my last offload till the time I was taken to my personal ride I was paid $20/hr. Not a bad deal since I even stopped to fuel while heading in.

There are days I miss OTR. Like this morning when it was 22* and I had to stand outside while I was loading. I mean it's hard to take a leak when you need to get 2 inches of manhood through 6 inches of clothes..haha:biggrin_2559:

I'm sort of surprised that Crete recruiting hasn't called me to come back yet. I guess they are doing fine without me :biggrin_25524:

Do to a new AM....I have somehow got adventured out my preferred region (West Of Lincoln), I picked up a paper roll load today in Skowhegan, Maine ..... it was either summer of 2009 or 2010 last time I had been up there.

It doesn't seem like you been gone that long. Chime in any time you want about anything. It is odd they haven't called you, maybe it's due to Texas being infested with the ebola thing.

It's a warmer 23 degrees here in Indiana, I have to wander out and turn on the bunk heater to warm the cab and engine up for tomorrow :( , if I can leave this, which I should have had before I drove this morning in the snow and ice. I need a new pickup badly, but then it rarely snows here, and the Jeep sucks on ice, and the windows don't zip up, and they run to good to replace, ramble, ramble, wait, maybe it's the Dos Esuies and bourbon, nah

Spent most my home time getting rid of nasty spyware, Why didn't I think it odd that an Adobe update wanted me to turn off Nortons and open my firewall??? It only used 6 gigs of data in 7 days.

The race yesterday sucked. Logano should have fought that stupid jack man.

Same ole Same ole here at Crete,

    But anyways, font....there.

Post some pics of where you pick up at.

Here's a typical tank battery. The yellow bucket near the stairs is the water header. You can see the other yellow buckets along the retaining wall and they are for the crude.
