I had one of our driver recruiter people just ask me who I work for.
HE even had business cards, says he thinks he snagged a Werner driver today.

    Wild Murphy Thanks this.

Ha. My cards are on order. Call driver recruitment and have them make you a set. They are free and it doesnt hurt to hand one to someone who asks you about Crete. It has your driver code on it so you might get a $1000.00 referral for handing someone a free card.

I have to have a meeting with my acting terminal manager tommorow, you know, The Talk,,,,,
I delivered to Jenks Friday morning and had to take this load to Gas City, so I could get to Indy. So I bobtailed to the Hard Rock Casino and grabbed the load Saturday morning. As it wouldn't be done til late Friday night.
Dispatch wanted me to repower a load today, from Fort Wayne to Detroit, but I replied "no can do, they want me in Indy, so they can fire me in person"

So you think that giving them a notice will make them relieve you of your services immediately?

I haven't gave a notice yet, I did however refuse one of their 200 mile, unload on your 10 hour break loads,
They hate that, as that is the whole reason behind the asking if a customer has overnight parking.
It's the one rule they demand I break, and I will not spend the night at just any customer, I require a toliet nearby.
Heck, last week I delivered to a Lowes, a 24 hour McDonalds was nearby, I love their breakfast too, plus an Applebee's that had $3 Becks draft, maybe 22 ounces.
I spent the night there, and will again.
