So, who all is going to watch the fight tonight?
I can, if I can stay awake.

I spent 1.5 hrs of traffic around Nashville today, then 1.5 hrs of traffic near Atlanta today. That I-24 corridor is my least favorite place to be, nothing but construction and accidents.

I leave google maps live traffic up on my phone at all times, anymore. Actually via TruckerPath now... they've updated that app tremendously and I leave it open constantly. See all the traffic, truckstops, etc. up ahead at a glance, it's great.

Oh, and Drivewyze... so that when the 61mph Schneider that I just passed gets his green on PrePass...I already got my bypass signal on Drivewyze...so I can keep going, and not have to pass Schneider again. Sometimes I wish I was Magneto...so I could pick them up and set them down behind me by waving my hand. Or that I just didn't have a governed truck.

My last 4 loads- 280 360 450(2 days on that one) 410 MI OH VA PA,i tried to protest today but they shut me up with"after the next one we will work on something".The next one will be in the 500 mls range most likely. Many thanks to Columbus shop, they fixed the A/C,other shops couldnt find what was wrong with it,it turned out to be the high pressure switch. And our new assistant terminal manager accused me of faking breakdown, due to the going 3 times in the shop, over the same A/C issue. From here i can only go uphill now.

If an ASSistant manager did that to me and then they found something really wrong...I would be in his/her face with a major "I told you so" attitude. And then invite them to have a three-way call with Tonn...since he's on the speed dial list....then once he/she backs down, explain that if I was ever disrespected by him/her again like that, that their next gig would involve the phrase "would you like that combo small, medium or large"...but that's just me...I use to see how close to the edge of termination I could get without being fired.

My loads have been in the 7 to 800 mile range lately, even a few 1,000 plus milers. But, they have a lot of time on them, but, I enjoyed the time off. Caught the fight and Talledega, both were boring and not worth watching, spent a lot of time in Amarillo, my favorite town.

But, No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

I took my 10 here in Amarillo, fueled up and just got on 287 South, when BEEP, Can I let another driver have my load to Fort Worth so he can go home, .UGH, So I u-turn and head back to the Loves, I got his empty trailer, with 2 flat tires, yep, TWO inside rear tires off the bead, I left 2 load bars in my sealed trailer, He didn't have any to trade me.
I asked him if there was anything wrong with the trailer, "The inside is a little dirty" was his reply. I told him about the TWO flats, It was like talking to a turnip, So I'm at the TA. (A turnip with sweat pants, )
I got the preplan going to Maine again. Maybe I'll get the trailer fixed in time to do it.

Looks like Ops is going to let the Napa DC in Houston waste my 14.

Even though I am in my truck, at a truckstop on a reset, I am happy to be off for a day. Laundry, sit at a table to eat, and clean my truck. It's rare I enjoy time off.
