naw, I'm keeping on eye on Awesome Bill from Dawsonville's son; Chase Elliot.

EDIT: and the kid from Mexico; Daniel Suarez. I think both have a bright future

Seems like the loads have gotten longer in the last couple of months.
I can say it because I'll drop tomorrow near Social Circle and I'm sure I'll get a load to Florida.

I-44 did screw me the other day with the flooding, I had to run up to Kingdom City and east across 70.
And it seems like they're listening to my PTA's lately. Beats trying to pick up my next load before my hours run out.
I'd rather wait til the next day instead of fight the 11 or 14

I see Crete is now going into Gladfelter in Chillicothe, OH for loads.

Must be desperate, that #### is really cheap freight. Barely covers our fuel costs. And I've had problems with them not loading our trailers. Nothing like going in when it's supposed to be drop and hook to be told it's a live load, and as I pass by their empty trailer lot on the way to the docks, I count 6 or 7 of our empties in there.

    Good luck with that fellas...

They shouldn't be allowed to dispatch a preloaded trailer load before it is loaded.

So I drove 10 plus hours today and delivered, and get offered a 50 mile deadhead to a 300some mile load to Lebanon, TN that live unloads Monday at 21:00.
I assumed the load was preloaded and I could grab it in the morning, but there wouldn't be any parking near there when I'm empty, and #### it, I refused the load for that reason.
Ended up getting a similar load with an all day drop tommorow.

Liltonny is gonna have to start paying for Reserve parking.

I've ran my 70 hours out in 7 days the last 3 weeks, the first 2 weeks the loads were long and I could reset on route,
Today I dropped the shag in PA and had 7.5 hours left on my 70 for the next 2 days, they offer a 480 mile (with deadhead) load and then a different 480 mile load that drops tomorrow.

I gave up and took a reset, truckstops are 65 miles away east and 45 miles west.

Plus the preloaded trailer on the 300 mile load this morning must have been red tagged at a terminal and someone snagged it as their empty to drop at the shipper, I am so glad it was a drop at the receiver.
