I wasn't put out of service but I almost LOST my CDL. Renewed my medical card and was told by Lincoln they would send it to my state. We'll 1 week before the deadline I went to the DMV site to look up my info to make sure I was good, and glad I did. They had yet to receive it and was just a few days away to dropping me back to Class C.

Heard that this actual did happen to some drivers. They renew it and company says they will handle all the paperwork. Somewhere down the line it doesn't get done and drivers find out either from their state or when they get inspected at a scales and they run their license that they aren't a CDL holder anymore.

It would only take one lawsuit by a irate driver (like yours truly) and they'd be sure to remember the next time...I would sue them for everything a good ambulance chasing shyster lawyer could nail them for...

Except when you're 1000 miles away and your state requires a scanned/faxed copy.

I do mine everytime I get a new card. I sure as hell don’t trust anyone in my office to do a simple task. Florida is rather simple.

Anybody else having issues with their gps?
Keep loosing reception both on my peoplenet and Garmin. I’ve done multiple restarts without any change. Entering location at every duty change gets old fast.

I had it happen coming out of Atlanta the other day, and it didn't have GPS until I sat for a 30 at the rest area north of Cartersville. I thought it was sun spots. There was a MCE (mass corona ejection) that was suppose to just clip our atmosphere recently, but I had GPS on my Nag-a-Gator and on Google Maps, so I just figured it was just another glitch on the Peoplenet POS.
