    Be careful of the hype that any recruiter gives you. Crete is no better than the rest. They talk a good game, but don't deliver to the driver of the truck. Whether its getting you home, communication with the company, honesty with you, integrety issues, or payroll issues. The truth is the same at crete.... watch your own back, cause the company only cares about its balance sheet, not you... you are just a truck number.
    Why do they spend so much in advertisements for drivers if they have one of the lowest turnover rates in the industry? They pay a driver lots of $$$ for recruiting a driver, just to keep the word on the street as positive as possible. For a company that claims to not play games.. they sure do play them all!!!

    It's been stated time and time again. Why do people still get duped by recruiters? No offense but are you that new?

    The was a post somewhere that said if a company needed to have recruiters, they are not worth working for. I agree. You have to ask yourself why do the companies need them? Do you see a lot of freight or just a lot of turnover from cr#ppy companies? I bet those same cr#ppy companies are in every truckstop magazine advertising for new fresh meat. Stay away folks.

    Ever since tonn ostergard the son in law got reins of the company, he essentially has destroyed the Crete and it's affiliated co's( shaffer).

    This idiot basically is as much an anti driver executive as one could be.
