    Why is schneider garbage? We are going to run teams, they said we would start about 6000-6500 miles a week split

    My husband and I started with Schneider in 2007 and they treated us great. I would recommend them. And yes, that is the mileage you can expect from them as team drivers. It is easy to achieve because they are pretty much all drop and hook. We got tons of miles.

    well thank you so much to everyone for the information about the two companies. As of right now, I took a offer from Sygma networks. They will pay for my Schooling to get my class A and in return i have to pay them back a total of $5200 over two years at $50 a week. Also that fact they are unionized, and i will be home every 2 days is something my wife likes.

    Plus I promised my wife we would do this for a year before i start looking at OTR jobs. However, when we do feel its time for to move on to OTR, we're going to go with Shaffer.

    "they said" that doesn't mean it'll actually happen.

    don't believe ANY company about miles unless it's a dedicated account.

    Schneider pays VERY LOW

    I've met team drivers for them getting paid LESS per mile than I am as a SOLO driver at Shaffer with just a year experience.


    if you want to team go to Old Dominion, team drivers top pay is .68CPM in LTL line haul drop and hooks.. you'd start in the .60s to begin with.
