    Anyone currently working at either? They called me back. Seemed fair with $600 per week for training. Out 3 weeks, after 6 months 48 cpm. So if anyone out there can share, I sure would appreciate it.

    Did you check the Crete thread in the company section? Also there's one in the favorite trucking company area that gets a lot of activity.

    Yes, I am back with Crete and have done both Crete and Shaffer. Crete pays 45 but I do as well with Crete as I did with Shaffer. You can do more miles with Crete. IMO, the quality of life is much better pulling dry van than it is pulling reefer. Check out my thread "Crete by the #s".

    If you can get in with Crete/Shaffer and if they have a fleet that meets your needs, you should forget Werner.
