Doesn't matter what the boss does,it's his word against the drivers word.Need solid proof.Police won't be able to do anything have to take everything thru the legal system.

WOW, I think this has to be BS because anyone in their right mind would be not on the internet but on the phone trying to find a lawyer to defend them and to then sue the guy - especially if the owner has a track record of this.

Gonna be pretty difficult to get a conviction IF some DRIVER calls the PD, TROOPERS, FBI, etc to report what his boss is trying to pull. (forced to drive illegal loads?)
ANY MY POINT IS: (again), How can some company "FORCE" a driver to pull illegal loads?

You came to the right place. Nobody knows more about the law than us truckers!! Unfortunately it's going to take me some time to rifle through all the information you posted. I'll get back to you once I read through all of it.

The REAL QUESTION is; "Can a company FORCE a DRIVER to move an "ILLEGAL LOAD" and then press charges (that will stick) for theft, (or whatever other law the company wants to come up with) when the driver refuses to do so?

(so basically as a DRIVER, you are forced to Break the Law to keep your Job?)

They can't force drivers. All the driver has to say is no.Your employment with the illegal company is coming to an end anyway so you're not losing anything but awhole lot of stress Its not like his boss put a gun to his head and said run illegal or else.Put your foot down and say no then get ready to sue.

None of us was there so we don't know how it all went down.We can just speculate and my speculation says there's a lot more to this story.
