    wouldn't you think that the industry would look at the fact that my type of training was better, after all, i've logged way more hours in a truck, than any school is gonna give a student, and i've done lots of pulls fully grossed, almost 8,000 miles worth, thru various types of terrains

    Say you and your trainer, neither of which they know. They want accredited schools because they know what standard the curriculum is to.

    I have over 82,000 Accident Free Miles in an Army Tractor Trailer driving all types of terrain in Europe, to include driving through the Alps. Want to guess what that counts for in the Civilian world?

    Squat... It has to be accredited School and recent verifiable experience. Unless you know someone, that's just the way the game is played.
