how is it? I'll be going to Cornwall, ON for the first time. Then dead heading to Montreal for a tank wash and dropping back in off of 15 that turns into 87 in NY.

Almost all places will take your American money but you will always get Canadian change back. [Unless the looney is higher than the dollar]
I make sure I have some smaller bills before heading up. It sucks to have to break a $100 bill for supper and get $80 in Canadian change back which is only worth about $55 if you convert it back over on the way out. -
