Did you get prepass or bestpass? Makes life easier.

My prepass is one of the best things that I've ever bought for the road!

I've had bestpass and I have way way more luck with prepass.

Backup paper log in the glove box. Seems like also you need instructions on what to do if the ELD malfunctions.

Petty crap that DOT looks for.

What’s going to get you shutdown once you leave Texas? I’d say your License Plate. Everyone knows all Outlaws are from Texas. If you do happen to get harassed, mention that you have a lot of family in the area. Mostly cousins, though you’ve never really met any of them. A planned family reunion is on the horizon.

Can you bother with that if you're a New Entrant, and have never been inspected? Will you still get a green light?

    Covered.

Let’s see, from my class 1 inspection last week.
    - fire extinguisher, DOT triangles, spare fuses
    - IFTA sticker both sides
    - DOT inspection sticker
    - Oregon fuel permit (only if going to Oregon)
    - license plate matches registration
    - insurance up to date
    - back up paper logs
    - ELD instructions
    - 2 sets of chains (Oregon requirement)
    - proper load securement
    - then everything else that should be checked with a proper pre-trip.

Almost forgot. BOL entered into ELD. Got pinged for that. But not on the report.

All covered, and extinguisher is mounted. If I don't put in BOL info, my ELD complains about it.

I don't have an inspection sticker, but I have the actual paper in my truck book. And I'll stay away from Oregon for a bit, until I get that other stuff covered.
