Interesting. It's just with all the safety involved I wouldn't think they would have anybody other than a student, and instructor, in a cab while on a public roadway driving.

Pike,
I don't think any training school works that way. In our case we get a fair amount of wheel time before ever touching public roads. Being in rural Missouri we start out on fairly empty public roads. Doesn't seem like a problem to me.xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Checking in after 3 weeks at Crowder College:
We've split our time between backing exercises and road trips with some classroom time tossed in. We all survived midterm testing which included a written test and a DOT-style pre-trip inspection.
I need more practice with parallel parking. Straight back and lane change back are good. 90 degree doc is next week. I'm not top gun but i'm in the top 3...
Ozarks Lady: you-know-who is doing well. He picks stuff up with practice. My money is on him succeeding.xlsdraw Thanks this. -
Igneouss, thank you for being a friend to my son. I know that he has been working hard, getting frustrated one day and overjoyed on another. I just tell him to take it easy, listen to Kelly, and it will all come together.
My son has a strange memory. I told him my name on here and he remembers a name I had on another board a long time ago...lol -
Musicgal,
got it. Pleasure to spy for you -
We talk almost every day as long as my awake hours are when he's not in school and awake...lol. Met up with him at home ( in town) yesterday ( showed him this thread and he said " Yeah, N×××, is a great guy). That is one thing I love about our dedicated account..being able to stop in...really going to miss him once he's on the road.
