I've had a great experience so far at CRST. I've made decent money. For a begginer that is. My trainer was great and didnt yell at me. He did piss me off sometimes but i know that can happen just because it can happen. I paid for my own CDL so I'm glad i didnt have to live on the money those guys were trying to live on.
I worked there for three months. I finally had enough of having to "train" my "trainer" on the finer points of Hygeine and Smoking in the truck ( I smoke, but he would smoke a pack every 5 hours or so) and actually stopped the Truck in the Middle of I10 in El Paso and told him to get out or I was going to put him out. Luckily, it was my last week of training and he had already signed off on my stuff....so I was good to go!
I got mine through unemployment and cost nothing, but i drove for them twice and no complaints, if you like teams, i dont. They are as fair as any other, will be all over so bring munchies. Good people and good stops, just stay out of South Florida, its a truck trap
