Hopefully that lady can get you rehired but unless shes in close ties with safety I wouldn't hold my breath.May I ask what you got fired for?

The apps are certainly going out. Sadly, I've already told a handful that called me about the contract...>.< I'm even looking local jobs like dumps and construction companies at this point.

I agree, that's not any different then recritters not giving out any extra info about the company.

They actually do have the right to terminate, without breaking the contract. It all depends on the reason for the termination. If it was without just cause, you might be able to win in court. They would have to sue to win a judgement for the unpaid balance.

I am thinking they are going to list safety issues. According to Contracts, I am still listed in their system as employed, but Fleet told me last Friday I was fired. Here's what I know...Massachusetts, I backed into another truck in a dock yard just enough to crack a headlight lens; Indianapolis: I was making a turn to get to a drop yard and got stuck on railroad tracks, made all the right calls, had the tracks shut down and so on. In that one, as the only damage was to the landing gear on the trailer I was pulling, I got a citation for Reckless Operation of a Combination Vehicle from the CSXT PD. I am working on getting that one lowered or dismissed because it appears to be a daily occurrence for trucks to get stuck on the tracks at that particular turn (Massachusets Ave turning onto Columbia Ave to get to Roosevelt Ave where the drop yard is, right behind Last Chance Towing). I even had to wave off another CRST truck that was trying to make that same turn while I was being issued the citation.

Originally, we thought I would be routed to the OKC terminal for a defensive driving course and be on my way, but the morning after my FM informed that I had been sacked.

Oh, and the companies I informed about the contract are the ones who specifically asked about it...most of those knew it was there when I mentioned CRST.

True in this case, contract specifically states that whether I resign or get fired, I am liable for the contract.
