CRST contract??

Knight will hire you. They challenge CRST on that contract issue all the time.

 

Are you offering a loan?

 

1) Find a company that doesn't care you're under contract to CRST, or

2) Pay CRST.

 

3) Read contract before signing.

But in reality, the only ones that will care are other megas. Go apply to some companies that you actually would not mind working for...

 

I don't know if they care about your contract or not but you might try calling my company, Britton Transport, out of Grand Forks, ND. It is a smaller company (about 115 trucks I think). They treat me well. Check the website out and give them a call if you like what you see.

 

The main thing you need to remember is not bother telling the other companies you have a contract with CRST.
While there is a non-compete in the contract, it's unenforceable for the most part.

That means it simply is no different than a credit card contract with a secondary payoff option. Treat it as any loan and move on with life.
