Crst help

I got to keep my cdl without going through any of the recommendations the above users stated.
Mostly owner operators hired me. after 2+ years big companies are willing to hire you. The states need as many drivers as they could get at this point. The only problem back in the day was i was trying to get hired by big companies, as they saw my record with crst most people would not hire me.

Since 2016, I've gotten jobs and worked as a truck driver without any "truck driver rehabilitation program" due to failing a drug test at CRST facility in jacksonvile after getting my CDL A. Failing the drug test did prohibit some companies from hiring me. Since that time, I've gotten another med card and have worked for owner operators.

I hope this information helps newbies that fail the second drug test at CRST. If you get your CDL A and fail, look for owner ops willing to train you. Best way to accomplish this would be to post on craigslist that you are a new driver looking for training, It certainly worked for me. You'd be surprised at the amount of people wanting to put you into a truck if you're a good driver that can listen to directions and accept "training" pay for a while. After some time companies that see you have had past experience will hire you in a heart beat regardless of past failed drug tests.
