Autoshift on E-coast will automatically engage the transmission and engine brake when the truck's speed reaches 5 mph over the target speed.

Its bad enough they make to team right away now you will have a camera watching u too.
I'm pretty sure next there will be cameras in the sleeper to prove you are actually sleeping during sleeper time.

Depends on the make and model. On Freightliners E-coast will engage when certain parameters are met. On KWs with the Eaton Endurant transmission (at least for me) it will only engage when cruise control is not on and if the truck is going down hills/grades and/or if the accelerator pedal is partially engaged,disengaged completely or all the way to the floor.

 

CRST utilizes Freightliners.
