i wish my company (ffe) would pay rand mcnally miles. they pay zip code to zip code with a 10% overage allowance. hence if zip to zip shows 1500 miles, that is all you are paid unless you drive over 1650 actual miles (10% of 1500 is 150. 1500+150 is 1650). drive 1640 ur sol. that being said, otherwise i've been with lisa motor lines (ffe) for four years and tghey treat you pretty well.

Beware all who work for CRST. I went thru all the loops, while jumping thru all the hoops they put infront of you, i was amazed at the caliber of people they bring in by the 100's weekly to TRY to become what they call a professional driver... What a joke this company is, and if the others are the same O lord are we in trouble. I went the 28 days otr with a trainer and got my own truck with a permantent co driver. CRST safety record is horrible. After three weeks with a driver that made me nervous from day one, he managed to wreck the truck with me sound asleep in the back. I am so luck to be alive today. I you want to gamble with your life then you odds with CRST is the best choice for you.... Out of 14 people to pass everything and finish orientation, 6 have totaled trucks, 2 have DIED....Yes 6 people have died in the last two months with them.... Now, thing you should know!!! workers Comp, let me tell you how it works for them. You get hurt and injured, but hey IM ALIVE, they want you to take a bus to Iowa, then see only Iowa doctors and pay you 66% of what you made last 13 weeks. Now if you earned 50 dollars a day on training you should make about 28 dollars a day to live in Iowa. You must eat, laundry and OH YEA, pay them back what you owe from your orientation stay. Sooo figure it out. A clue is look who runs the training center, ALL WORKER COMP people, thats why nobody know whats going on. They make money on you from the government as you sign a contract with them. they recieve roughly 12,000 each student. Its a regular cattle call every fri at CRST... BEWARE, Screw them, they have not one ounce of interest in anybody....

One of them news shows 20/20 or Nightline, heck I forget. But they were interviewing the big honcho of the BBB. Evidently the ones that pay into BBB get better ratings. If you refuse to pay in you get a poor rating....
    BBB losts it's credibility.

But CRST still sucks. Slum lords.

I hate to say it, but I have searched the net and have found nothing reporting any deaths of CRST trainees or drivers. I'm sure this could happen, but where is your proof? Do you have any news links?

I have worked for CRST for 5 months. Have been doing the 20/10 program for 4 months. The 20/10 program would work fine if I lived in a state other than Florida.
We get sent to Fla every 10 days to do a driver swap, my team is based in Tampa Bay area. What happens is we get sent to Miami, Fl, if we get there on Saturday morning, we don't get a load until Monday. There are only 2 safe truck stops authorized, both are pay lots, we pay then wait to get money back. Anyway out of the 20 days out we are in Miami for, at lease, 4 days. We have 16 days out on the road averaging 3000 team miles a week.
