I got a 48' spread axle no dump Utility when I started 2 years ago, was not offered a choice. I guess I was lucky because at the time they had a lot of crappy trailers with no side boxes or racks on the bulkhead so drivers were hauling their chains and binders in the passenger seat. Haven't seen any of those around lately. recently they've gotten some 53's but I wouldn't want one. If I hauled nothing but coils I'd get a side kit for winter at least, but I run a lot of loads you can't put on a side kit so I'm kinda on the fence on that issue. As far as I know they're all 185/week. Hoping to buy my own trailer this year. Coud have bought 2 with the money I spent on rent for 2 years.
