The CRST agent in OKC has a lot of oversize loads of steel going to the North West and pays real well if you can get one. Landstar is also moving some of these loads out of the other plant in Little Rock and the steel plant in OKC. I here this job is suppose to last eighteen months. I used to pull these loads for the same customers when I pulled flat and step deck and averaged to the truck well over $2 a mile my part plus F.S. and the surcharge paid my fuel bill for the week. The per mile rate over $2 a mile was when I just dead headed back to OKC and got another load.

Runningman it's not a good idea to post rates for every low-life scum-sucker rate cutter to see. You're just making their job easier. You see Maverick, TMC, Melton, PGT, Western Express, etc. at places we load right?

I know $2/mi ttt might seem like a lot of money to you and you wanna shout it from the rooftops but I implore you to exercise caution.

What did they say in WWI? Loose lips sink ships.

Most of our rates are scraping the bottom of the barrel already as far as I'm concerned.

Are you sure you were leased to CRST Malone? I don't understand how anyone can go broke and still owe the IRS $4,000 in only a month? I made money with them from day one.

That's what I was wondering. Maybe he spent the money on lot lizards and other extracurricular activities? Or maybe his tax preparer is sitting on a beach somewhere watching pretty girls and sipping those drinks with the little umbrellas in them?

Sounds like me he is not a very good business person and shouldn't have been in business in the first place. Maybe he should have gotten receipts from those lot lizards to help out on his taxes. I do got to say one thing if he had to pay $4000 in taxes for one month at CRST he must have grossed a boo koo of money that month.

I am leasing a truck through CRST Maolne and still sending good money to the house. The transmission decide to defecate the bed Sunday pulling Fancy gap in Va., im getting a new transmission installed right now at the Freightliner dealer in Greensboro, N.C.. It won't cost me a dime or put me in the dreaded maintenance hole. Yes the truck could be nicer, but you can't be the bumper to bumper two year warranty

there websight says 275 - 295 a week. how are you paying 185?

do they hire only leasers or do they hire o/o's too without buying a truck through them?
