A below avg co with low pay and teams that they feel do not need to see home. Did I mention about the low pay and junk equipment? Do you mind being lied to?
-
Junk equipment? Their trucks are no older than 3 years.

Oh...so you were in the lease program?
But seriously, I guess that depends on how they were treated. I haven't made it that far yet. When and for how long did you work for them? -
so a normal person would probably be upset. I am talking about company drivers, not lease. Wait awhile and post what you think about them when you get on a regular truck. Hope you got an air card so we don't think you fell off the face of the earth.

I'll be posting from my phone, but it has that tiny KB so they will be short.
My L/O trainer already warned me that my company truck probably wouldn't be in as good shape as his...and his was an '05. He was a fanatic about keeping it clean. Hopefully my luck will continue. -
Might want to read on here a little bit.

the junk equipment comes from drivers who dont care and dont tell anyone that stuff is wrong with the truck. CRST will fix your truck if something is wrong with it. hell the last time i put my truck in the shop they fixed stuff i never even asked them to down to the stripped knob in the sleeper section of the cab. i have been on several trucks before i was issued my own, it is up to the driver to let maintaince know of any issues. several of the previous drivers trucks all they cared is that the wheels turned. Maintence can only track services that the truck needs. also if the issue is not dot or safety related they will wait until its at a terminal. but i have never had an issue. when the truck was not safe or dot legal the answer is always the same take it to the nearest repair shop and have them call us. once i hooked to a trailer that was not safe to move and they sent a repair truck to me. they even sometimes will authorize the driver to take it to the dealer if they cannot fix it.
its also the same for how nice it is. my last co driver was a pig. so his truck was a mess. when i got my truck i tend to keep it pretty clean.
and right now they are spending alot of money having all the trailers service and refurbished. how do i know that cause i tend to relay a lot of trailers to dealers so they can go over them.
CRST is not the worst company to work for or neither is it the best. use it for what it is a training company. no you are not gonna get rich driving for them but no other company is going to either if you have no experience.Roscopeco Thanks this. -
I have a copy of their contract somewhere. Not get rich? You got to be kidding. The food stamp qualifications should put you in a higher bracket...
