PREHIRE LETTER MEANS NOTHING, iVE BEEN THRU ENOUGH ORIENTATIN 14 O START END OF THE FIRST DAY ITS DOWN TO6 OR 7, ...tHEY GIVE OUT PREHIRE LETTERS BUT THEY HAVE NO SECURITY. OUT OF YOUR OTR LIST
PRIME PAYS THE BEST , i THINK AS FAR AS OTR THERE THE BEST OVERALL. SORRY DID NOT REAIZE CAP LOCK WAS ON

 

CTL Distribution is a great place to start out in trucking I started with them when I first started in 03 I have friends that are still there they were not a bad company and for starting out they pay good

Am I correct in understanding that I don't get training pay until second week of actual training(not cdl training)?

 

It depends when you get your first load with the lead like if leave let's say Friday you will get payed Monday

 

Ok. I was informed by someone that you didn't get paid until end of training

 

you don't get paid anything while in the cdl training. when you go out with trainer (there could be a 1 to 2 week wait for that) then you get mileage pay the 2nd Thursday. trainees get paid once per week on Thursdays.
