Ccolvin, After their last minute changes, I postponed it until after Christmas. I am hoping in that time something different will happen. I am now looking into cre as a stepping stone.

    Are you still undecided?

well it comes to my mind that this is my only choice atm, but i applied at CRE and Werner as well. I like CRST but after i was told by my co-driver that our dispatcher quit and went to UPS i was kinda effy on CRST. Plus with all the things they are doing now kinda scares me.

I hear ya. I guess all the companies have changed their hiring policy in one way or another. I applied with Werner but they declined due to a ding on my mvr almost 20 years ago. As much as I have tried to avoid cre I am going to call them in the morning and try to finalize it. There are may companies in my area to choose from, but most require at least a couple months experience. At least I can get that with cre.

yea, i was gonna go werner before crst but i had to pay for the school out of my pocket so i chose crst. Now im thinking i might get on with cre. my dad was a l/o with them which they ripped him off bad so im gonna avoid that like the plague. other than that he said company side cre is good to start with

I am sure all the training companies suck, LOL. I guess it just depend on how badly one wants to drive.

yes CRSTs per diem is .10 so basically your getting .12 cpm thats taxed and .10 thats not in my opinion id rather get more back at the end of the year than be on the per diem. Course CRST says if its not beneficial to you they take you off, if it is then they put you on.
