Im a new driver out of waterloo as well i had a very good experience there the class was quick and fast paced tho most all of my classmates went on and got there cdl's and are out on the road doing there 28 days and are having no complaints . i think CRST treated me like royalty i'm a new driver and i have no problem starting from the bottom and working my way up.So i do hear alot of bad talk about CRST but some people are just hard to please. But i'm humble and appreciative of what CRST help me to accomplish.

If you want low pay, go for it! P.S. LOOK AT WHAT THEY PAY FOR MILES. SPLIT MILEAGE. TRUCK MOVES 5000 miles, you get 2500 of them. Google "Crst Pay Scale"

That's how all companies pay. Split the miles (6000=3000x.44¢) or (6000x.22¢) it comes out the same.

Unless you know of a company that pays each driver the full 6000 miles x .44¢

You're right, dv8... The team companies all pay that way. It's really not all that bad. Both of you are responsible for the truck, you should split the profit that truck makes. You should always make it fair though by rotating shifts. You don't want someone to always be driving more miles because you stick to one shift. Make sure you get a co-driver who is willing to work hard so you don't get stuck hauling ### to a consignee just because your co wanted to slack off and take a million breaks.

My husband and i are thinking about doing the team driving. Is CRST good about paying you ontime and in full fo what is owed? I mean, do you have to fight to get paid and there no ######### deduction that you were never told about? Any feedback will be greatly aappreciated.

How long have you been working for CRST, and how do you like it? How were they in finding your co driver? How many miles are you averaging a week? I noticeds you're in San Diego, are you able to come home every 2 weeks?? When you come home, how do you get home??

    Thanks!!!
