I'm in training at CRST, my trainer runs me hard, their deadlines are expected to be made on time, I run nights while my trainer does days. You can do the miles if you have someone as team wanting to get the mikes as bad as you. The pay is split by miles not by your pay cents per mile. They started me out at .26 cents per mile because I didn't go to their CDL school. If you go to their CDL school they start you out at .22 cents per mile. Plus they gave me a $1000 sign on bonus paid out in increments over 6 months time. I live in Texas so I'm looking or someone to team up with. My trainer says I shouldn't team up with someone tht was in my orientation because then you have dumb and dumber behind the wheel which makes for a recipe for disaster. Anyone fom texas wanting to team up with me t CRST. I have about 3 weeks more of training. Oh and CRST starts you out paying you by the mile and not a flat fee for 90 days.

Why in the world would to run team miles & "split" the miles????
    Lets see 5000 divided by 2 = 2500 X .22 ( Normal student contract)
    = $550

    ALL other normal team companie's 5000 miles X 22.5 (.45 split) = $1125

Y'all are being taken for a ride ...in more ways that one!!

You have to start somewhere. Besides, CRST only has an 8 month commitment and you pay NOTHING back. After your 8 months you can go just about anywhere.

    Well I wouldn't call $500+ loss income a week "nothing "

    so that's $2000 a month x 8 = $16k

CRST pockets while you try to finish out your contract

    Good Luck !

Some people don't have the luxury of picking and choosing. Crst may be pretty liberal on its background check qualifications. On top of that, it's cut and dry. No bs waiting to become a resident.

unless your a felon (DUI or worse ) than why go to a company that is going to pay u so little ?
& from your posts you seem to be going to swift not CRST , which is a better starter company anyways
id run from CRST not so much swift ( if you believe 100% of what a recruiter tell you ...your the dummy ! )

Paul_4lp is correct here. You will see. Maybe not today, tomorrow. May take years. Here is a fun game, find another noob on here starting at covenant, swift, etc. compare in a year what you both made. You will see. Prove me wrong. Please.
