Um, burger king, subway. there was a bbq joint not too far away. the gas station had tons of sandwiches and burritos. There was a diner just the other side of the river. So, yeah, quite a few. You can also catch the hotel shuttle to wallyworld for supplies, which opens up TONS of choices for restaraunts

 

Its no problem at all. I know how difficult it can be to get info without a bunch of crap talking and company bashing, when all you want are simple answers....

 

Its real crowded, thats for sure

 

CRST Cedar Rapids isn't that bad. The hotel where you stay has a walmart, a dozen or so restaurants and even stuff to do. The shuttle will also take you places.

 

In Cedar Rapids, the only walmart remotely close is like 5 miles away. True, they do a nightly shuttle, but thas only if you actually get on the shuttle. And thats ONLY if you were "lucky" to be at the homeless shelter they call a dorm. The chances of actually getting into the hotel while in training are very slim

 

well I do know that the Kirkwood staff talks a lot of crap about the CRST guys. I got my Class A from the actual Kirkwood side....Ocala FL? My husband is from there too!
