Thanks Money. I am scheduled to go to Cedar Rapids on the 14th. She is scheduled to join me at Orientation on the 28th, assuming I pass school.

My husbands application is currently being looked at by this comapany and I have not heard very good things about this company; specifically they don't pay well and do not pay on time. I will be home with our 3 children and wanted to know your thoughts on the matter, before he proceeds to take this job. thank you

Nobody gets rich at their first trucking job with any company. But he's got to start somewhere and if he works hard to build a good rep and work history, the miles and mileage pay go up.

I've been with 'em only 3 months, but have never had a late payment. They have messed up my paycheck twice, but it was a simple error due to me running solo at the time and it was taken care of 10mins after calling payroll.

As for not paying well, I'm single, no kids/bills.. so the beginning pay they're giving me is fine. I'm sure a family man would not call it being paid well.

If he's coming in as a student, then for the first 6 months, yes it won't be the best pay in the world, after 6 months when his raises kick in, it will be much better. Getting paid on time has never been an issue at all, and you get paid twice a week. This is my 2nd go around with CRST and I have been with them a total of 16 months altogether, I know there are better companies out there, but I am currently happy so why rock the boat?

If u are just starting out u are not going to make much it takes time I don't care who u drive for
I drove company for 2 years and then leased a truck
Truck has been paid off for 1 1/2 years and I pull in 3500.00 to 4200.00 a week I team with my wife gohome every 3 weeks and take 7 to 10 days off
Just remember when u are home u are not making money
