its actually not Fontana anymore. It's a new terminal and it's referred to as the Riverside terminal now. The old terminal was in Fontana.
I trained back in April at the riverside terminal. I'm currently at my six month. Woody- you will do fine. It's intimidating at first getting used to a big truck, but with time and practice it will get better. Don't overpack!!! Do not bring tools and don't bring 7 changes of clothes. I brought 4 and I did just fine. Get a sleeping bag and pillow and flashlight. Gloves as well. That's really all you need. Once your out of trainer and off the trainers truck you can bring more stuff if you want. Remember!! Think compact! 2 people in a truck is tight.

Also, the best person to help you at the riverside terminal while your staying there during training is Maria. She works from 4pm to midnight. She is a black lady and she is awesome. Very helpful and easy on the eyes too! Lol.

Good luck to you and remember this! "Be responsible for your own success". Remember that phrase and apply it and you will do great! I've had a good experience with CRST after 6 months. The pay will get better. It sucks at first, but hang in there.

ask away if you have other questions.

There is a cafeteria at the terminal. Food is ok. Some vending machines. I recommend taking the shuttle to Walmart and by groceries while your training. They have freezers and refrigerators to store it. Put your name on your food though. Some people would order pizza, etc...from local places and have it delivered. There are 3 BBQ grills on the patio, so you can grill food whenever you want. Accommodations are 3 full size beds per room. It's a newer terminal so they are still working out a few kinks, but overall it's a good setup.

Yeah, I think it's nice. It's much better than CRST's other terminals. Cedar Rapids is decent, but I think riverside is better.

any questions along the way just ask.

Its good to read the book because that is the right way to do things, but FYI, the school ASD gives you the exact questions and answers from the dmv test. All you have to do is study the answers. You will see what I mean tomorrow on your first day. You will take the permit test at the dmv on Wednesday. Drug test is Tuesday.
