    pack light but enough, bring food that wont spoil dont eat in truck stops it gets expensive

    Yeah, food was the first thing I thought about. I am only 40 miles from the Fontana location, so will probably drive each day. I am interested in the 20 days on and 10 days off, after the 28 day period should I see a raise?

    to bad you might miss me, i start with Werner in Fontana, Ca on friday., but i used to work with CRST. If you are going on as a contract student after your 28 days you get paid by mile which is .22cpm you get i think a .01cpm raise each month up to i believe .32 or .34cpm. Do you know what school you are going to?

    Yeah, Advanced school of driving. I have been in the management end of the trucking business but this is my first driving job. I figure the pressure can't be any worst that what I am use to.

    oh awesome i went through ASD, tell spongebob that hi hah. and the instructors are awesome there. Theres i think his name is garcia or something he always ends everything with homes

    I will let him know. It's just that the initial pay is so low but if I read this right I should get a bump in pay after the first 28 days. Any way no other jobs out there and it least I will have a cdl and haz endorsment. Stay in touch, I will update you and you the same.
