"which is where seven cases of garlic mysteriously disappeared."

They must have fallen off the truck.

Yes, it did. I heard later that the fee is a scam, but I don't know for sure because I got into tankers and never went back!!

I think it cost more than $20, the BWMM was $20 unless we went to our warehouse. Seemed to me it was $24. Been a couple of years and I don't get to the city anymore at all except rarely. Security at the 'point' was good, also at the place in Brooklyn, but no idle is enforced at both, enough to worry about it.

I couldn't belive how much it cost to get in there. That place was a dive big time.Parking lot was full of crushed tomatoes dock was dirty.I thought maybe they were going to give a concert why it cost so much.Because I ran out of hrs I stayed at a dive of a truck stop not far from there.

Crst what can you say. I have been driving with them for 4 mths no accidents. I really hate working here. The company rewards the bad drivers for backing into trucks causing damage. Treat the good drivers like crap. I have offered to pay this contract off. They keep giving me BS. I have the money how can I pay it off and just leave.

Wouldn't they send you a bill in the mail if you quit before the contract is up? That's one way to pay it lol. I'm sure they would probably mess with the numbers and try and nickel and dime you for everything they could though. Best of luck to you.

Do you have a copy of the contract?
If you do, which you almost certainly do not, unless they suddenly caught a case of being ethical, get a lawyer to look at it. Should get an initial consultation for free.
Personally, if it was me, I would pretend to be enjoying it, because they can basically recover the whole amount without any calculation. Meaning no prorate.

I'd call it a safe bet that there is an early termination penalty clause written into this contract, so even if you do have the money to buy yourself out of it, I can't see them just releasing you from it that easily without dinging you for more money.
