Cruise control engine break both quit together

    k om drivin from stl to rockfiord il in -6 temp weather. Made my delivery and went back home as i was cruisin down the highway all of a sudden my cruise control quit. I tapped the switch and it worked for 10 seconds then died again. Did that a couple of times until it tottaly died. Read online about this issue until someone said somrthing i dont remember he mentioned engine break i flipped the engine break and it stopped working too. Truck is a 98 fld n14

    I did have a faulty speedometer sometimes the needle would jump up and down and act crazy....but now the needle is dead too

    Maybe my speed sensor ? Is cruise and jakes connected with it?

    Now when i lift the clutch paddle it works but have to pull it hard hurts my foot

    Its your clutch switch going bad

    Yes. Check out the switch on your clutch pedal. You may be able to adjust something. If not, replace the switch. Easy fix.

    Sometimes you can just bend the switch contact down a bit if the spring is getting weak, not rocket science.

    When it’s parked push pedal in with hand and see if you hear switch
