    OMFG that's awesomer than mine.

I have to break out a Denver- I70 in storm winds eastbound until roughly Kansas City. Fuel mileage presented by our Century 2001 that night was 12-15 and approached 20 in spots for a mile or two here and there. My boss in FFE called us and asked is this legit? Certianly. But.. that trailer was on the shoulder most of the way with me holding the wheel that a way hanging out the tractor leaning over on those winds that night. Boy do I hurt. UGH. Pay me. lol.

So he questioned you about the great fuel mileage but didn't make a single comment about the fact that it was a white knuckles ride. Go figure.

My former teammate who is still with that company was headed for Canada and at 2 am, a cop pulled up alongside him shining a spotlight at him to check his seat belt on 75. Someone pulls up alongside me shining a light at me at 2 am near Detroit, I'm swerving into them and asking questions later. Said it scared the #### outta him because he didn't know it was a cop until he pulled away and got out in front of him.

Had a carload of teens point a laser at early sunset dark east Indianapolis. I had my drives headed to take out that grey mercury next to me because laser = gun sight on my head roughly prior to taking me out. Put the the foot down, laser quit and laughing turned to cries of terror as they evaded.

As fortune had it later on in PA I read newspaper reports of people using keychain lasers to scare truckers.

Well. There are 4 lives I almost killed on purpose on those stupid things. It was not welcome.

If anyone ever shined a light on me or a laser, it's gunna be some interesting dash cam footage to say the least.

I run my governor (65 pedal 68 cruise)

Only variable normally is am I on foot or not. Haven't been bothered.

Altho I've pegged the Speedo a few times on some of the hills on 81. Gravity is a wonderful thing ain't it?

Take her out of gear, start using mile markers and a stop watch, when you reach 30 second miles downgrade you know you are about 6 mph from reaching max gravity. You will go faster. Just make sure your bottom of the hill has a run out with no curves.

But if she starts to build a harmonic flutter, knock it down steady and quick like. Your tires don't like it.

The Speedo stops at 80. And my tru k has ratted me out yet. I iguure I was low 80s so below 85 I'd imagin. I think I'll just stick with that for now. I'd be afraid of my truck ratting me out.

Not in a rig but fastest I ever went was 137 on 78 in pa on that giant hill heading wesbound near exit 50. Now that was a ride

Depends on the terrain and the weight I'm at, but most of the time I am running about 66-67. Governed at 70, so the extra 3ish mph is for passing so I don't get in a drag race and hold up the left lane for 5 miles like so many do.

Those two lane interstates are a liability. They should build em out to three and four and five lanes. Arkansas is doing it along the older US Highways that are crumbling. You do not buy a normal car here and expect to have it more than a few years commuting to little rock daily. You buy a big pickup and rumble. I use a mid 90's tahoe on 265 tires and I no longer feel the bad road down that way.

My speedometer tops out at 90, had it Burried in Utah on I 70, according to the GPS I was at 93.
