Cruise Control Not Working Pete 587

Hey guys quick question, my cruise control hasnt been working for a while.
When I try to activate it, it gives me this message "Press and Release clutch cruise settings".
I searched on here and found that it could be either 2 things:
1. the clutch itself is not being depressed all the way so i would need to pull it with my foot upwards to deactivate the clutch because it may be loose and thats not letting it engage.
or
2. the clutch switch may need to be replaced. so i bought it. But in order to change it, can you guys tell me where it's located at. I've searched on here and online but havent been able to find the actual location for this model.
