Cruise mot working

what year truck is this most of the time KW have separate speed sensors for cruise control which they do not have in the unltrashift version since ultrashift transmit speed over datalink so see if you have a second plug on the harness for a second speed sensor, i have had this problem a few times when my guys do clutches and forget to plug them back speedo works but cruise and engine brake are a no go

 

I have a similar problem, but with one difference, Jake works. I looked and both plugs are in at sensor. I'm thinking there are 2 microswitches on the clutch. 1 is good, the other not so good.

 

You might have an issue with just the cruise side like the switch programming highly doubt they would run two separate switches for engine brake and cruise

 

It worked fine until the clutch was replaced. Fast idle still works.

 

Than it has robbed a speed sensor Issue did u try to ohm out or replace sensor see if connector are mixed up with something else like reverse switch

 

The place where I was leased had a shop. The head mechanic was a know it all idiot. I asked to borrow his ohm meter, and he claimed they can't do anything like that. I didn't believe him, but that was the closest I was to an ohm meter. I'm going to check it out this week. I'll let you know.

Don't need ohm meter swap plugs see if speed working simple as 123

 

You know what it was? The sensor was loose. I don't know why the speedometer worked.

I tightened it, and cruise works.

 

usually sometimes it is stupid #### that will make big prblems glad you got if figured out
